Murals

So here's the finished mural. Now this one was a bit of a challenge. It started at 10 ft and went up another 6, so these characters are practically life-size. To reach the painting area I had to stack three tables, which made bringing paint up and down a bit difficult. The lesson here, make sure you visit the location before you give a quote. Oh well, that's how we learn, right? I still had a blast. Cheers and thanks for all your kind comments.

Very cool looking stuff, both the sketches and the murals. Love your designs and linework. Fortunately I don't have to deal with pricing when working on murals, since I do it through the studio I'm working at. I'm just doing the designs and layouts and then they'll send out a team of skilled painters to put it on the clients walls. The downside is, that I rarely get to see the end result, because most of it is out of state.

Take care,

Hans

Your mural looks cool, I tried doing one of those once upon a time and failed. Good thing I was doing it for free.

I dont think I could do artwork/murals that big, I'm so used to my little doodles in my little sketchbook. In other words...big props to you!!

Okay that mural is 10 times better than the total value of all the drawings I've ever done in my life. This thing is amazing and totally fun to look at. Makes my want to draw like crazy or go engage in some sports! Good job!
