Portraits

Between now and Christmas I'm going to be doing some commissioned portraits. I'm a bit rusty so I'd appreciate any feedback or critiques. I'll continue to post as they come. Thanks again for stopping by. Cheers

I'm terrible at portraits, so I'm the last person you'd want a critique from. Keep posting them as you draw them, though. This is a nice start... unless this is a portrait of an 80-year-old lady. Then you're going to want to re-work it some.

I'm terrible at them also Andrew. The last time I attempted one, the lady I was drawing tried to take a swing at me. LOL! The lady thought I had made her nose to big.
Anyway, the portrait looks good dude. I have a lot of respect for people that can pull them off.

Great portrait Andrew!! Nice tone work on the upper lip. Seriously, this is way better than the Gerber baby.

Also, those were solid comments you made on funnypagesproductions.blogspot.com. Amen bro!

I hope we can see more of these master pieces!

Oh, wow. I like the shinies on the cheeks and nose... it reminds me of any number of fluffy little mammals on cuteoverload.com, but you know... more expertly rendered. And with less fluff.
